Sia Tequila is Sydney Drag Royalty’s very own pop princess. Wherever she goes, Sia is the life of the party.

Sia is an exceptional performer, with a true talent for serving onstage, exactly what the audience are craving. Bringing fresh, energetic, sexy, fun and calculated, conceptual performances, Sia has had a meteoric rise on the way to the top of Sydney’s Drag scene

There is nothing this superstar-in-the-making cannot do, from exquisite ballads, high-energy dance numbers, raunchy cabaret, to rocking-it-out, old-school. Sia loves getting your attention and making sure everyone is having as much fun as she is.

Even with her young age, Sia can already be seen starring weekly in almost every major production show around Sydney. Sia won her first Drag Industry Variety Award (DIVA) for being 2017’s Rising Star, she performed for Cher as part of the Mardi Gras parade in 2018, has already produced her several of her own production shows, and in 2019 was awarded the prestigious Entertainer of the Year.

“ A very enthusiastic full house celebrated the last twelve months of the Sydney drag scene at the 2019 DIVA Awards this week.

The grand ballroom of the Paddington RSL looked splendid for what many are calling a fabulous return to form for this event, now in its twenty-ninth year.

A highlight was a performance by the five finalists from the Slay 2 Stay talent quest at Universal, featuring the winner Miss Danni Issues – this queen has a big future.

Charisma Belle was the perfect hostess with the right measure of sending and steering. There is nothing quite like seeing a queen at the top of her game – she really was wonderful.

The popular Fran Giapanni is the DIVA Rising Star for 2019.

Sia Tequila is our new Entertainer of the Year, an award voted by her peers, and there was a lot of love in the room for her as she took the stage to a full standing ovation. “
